Super Bowl wing recipes that are sure to earn you a touch down!

Whether you are all about the football or only the half time show, the Super Bowl is one sporting event everyone loves to celebrate. While our parties this year may be limited to our households, that does not mean we cannot maintain the tradition of eating delicious snacks while we watch!

Nothing says Super Bowl like wings! Want to step up your chicken wing game? Try coating them in Summer Fresh Roasted Red Pepper Dip while they are nice and hot for added flavour! The taste of our delicious, roasted red peppers in the dip gives the wings a bit of smokiness and beats having to dip them in ranch sauce any day.

Really craving wings but trying to choose healthier alternatives? No problem! Try coating cauliflower florets in Summer Fresh Original Hummus, hot sauce and breadcrumbs, then Air Frying or baking them! You can even add more hot sauce for that extra kick! These Cauliflower Wings are sure to be the perfect half time snack and please even the biggest of carnivores.

HUMMUS CAULIFLOWER WINGS

Ingredients:

  • 1 x 227g / 8oz Summer Fresh Original Hummus
  • 1 Head of cauliflower, trimmed, florets cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Hot sauce
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  1. In a medium bowl, mix Summer Fresh Original Hummus with 1 tbsp of hot sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Add water and whisk together until the batter is thick and able to coat the cauliflower without dripping.
  2. Toss florets in hummus mix until evenly coated. Transfer to a medium bowl of bread crumbs and toss until well coated. Freeze for 1 hour.
  3. Air Fry florets at 360°F for 8-9 minutes until golden brown. Multiple batches may be required. Remove from Air Fryer and toss with remaining hot sauce, then return to Air Fryer for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
