She is one of the most important people in your life. She is there when you need a hug, have scraped your knee, or need advice on an important decision. We call her MOM – and on Sunday, May 9 we honour this wonderful woman for everything she does the other 364 days of the year.

Cater to the one who would do anything for you, by planning the PERFECT Mother’s Day celebration! – with the help of delicious products from Summer Fresh!

Morning:

This is the one day of the year where you should allow mom to sleep in! Dad – get any young children up and dressed without disturbing mom’s rest.

Together, let older children help prepare “breakfast in bed” that includes all of mom’s favourites! For younger children, have them design place cards or a menu to put on the breakfast tray along with the meal. Try these appetizing suggestions!

• Serve Summer Fresh Maple Walnut Topping over fresh pancakes or waffles. Add whipped cream and berries for extra indulgence.

• Spread Summer Fresh Vegetable Hummus on a toasted whole-grain bagel

• After serving mom breakfast in bed, make sure she awakes to a clean house, and all of the chores being completed, including laundry, vacuuming and dusting.

Afternoon:

After mom has rested and eaten her homemade breakfast, make sure you have a fun filled afternoon planned with activities you know she will love, such as:

• Treat her to a “spa day” including a massage, pedicure or manicure at a local spa. Be sure to pack for her a delicious Summer Fresh Snacks such as Roasted Red Pepper Snack n go!

• Book a class for her and yourself to learn about something she is pursuing. This can include a wine tasting class, pottery class or an introductory one on one yoga session.

Evening:
