1. In a large bowl mix flour and baking powder. Add eggs and corn and continue to mix.
2. Pour in milk, and add salt & pepper to taste. Mix vigourously.
3. Drop Tablespoon-sized balls of mixture into a large pot of preheated oil (approximately 350ºF or 180°C) and fry until golden brown. CAUTION: Be very careful when working with hot oil. It can spatter and cause burns. Make sure to add fritter mixture carefully into pot.
4. Remove fritters from pot with a slotted spoon and let sit on paper towel to drain excess oil.
